If you want to register domain names then you can find lot of registrars like Godaddy, Enom, Resellerclub and others. If you are looking cheap domain names with good prices and deals, then Godaddy is a good option if you get promotions for more than X amount. Resellerclub also have some interesting offers. On the other side, eNom is not cheapest as Godaddy but offers a good support service.
The reason why domains at Godaddy are cheapest are that they opted to avoid advertising on expensive media and keep they job board reduced.

Well, this post was written time ago, even before that SOPA was on the table, but you are right, now that GoDaddy supports SOPA the decision might be different. Thanks for the point.
According to me , godaddy never provide any cheap domain. Infact the prices with godaddy are much high . Reseller club is all different with fixed price slab which is less as compared to any other web hosting provider and appoint an account manager too for every client !

and enom , is not suggested …high domain prices , why one should by .? .when its all about registering a domain name ..all do same , then why high price .
