Magn WP Drap and Drop Upload for WordPress is a simple but useful plugin for WordPress that will help you save lot of time while uploading images to posts.
This plugin takes advantage of HTML5 upload features to support drag and drop image upload in WordPress New Post page. The autor (me) argues that using this plugin can make your blogging task more efficient in terms of time and save up to 90% if you take in mind that for uploading a single image you need to achieve a lot of single operations. With a drag and drop facility you just need two single steps:
- Open the New Post page.
- Drag an image to the admin area.
You can download this plugin from WordPress plugins directory.
I plan to add some SEO features later, like improving the alt title attribute or rename the filename on the fly.

Hi Opek. Can please try to check the directory permissions under /wp-content/plugins//temp folder? Please assign write permissions there just to see if this fix the error.
Doesn’t work for me too, write permissions are set to 777
Is there a way to get the link and set it automatically of the image once it’s uploaded?
Hi, try the version 1.1.4 – The generic error should not appear now. Please make sure to have the Visual view (not the HTML view) to let the uploader insert the image automatically. Otherwise in this new version click on Insert after uploading the image. Hope this helps.
